Websites are an important tool for all businesses, large and small. In today’s techno-savvy world, just any old website will not suffice; especially for a mining company.
On Friday, July 15, 2016, EnviroMINE, Inc. sponsored the Project Cornerstone Third Annual Golf Tournament fundraiser at Twin Oaks Golf Course in San Marcos, CA.
Project Cornerstone's programs introduce students to the construction aggregates industry by incorporating hands-on learning in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) into classroom activities and fieldtrips. The organization works with local high school Career Technical Education (CTE) programs to ensure the aggregates industry is included in their curriculum. They also provide informational presentations to local associations, community clubs, and planning groups.

In early April 2016, I attended the CalCIMA legislative conference in Sacramento and walked away from the experience knowing we, as an industry, have to do more effective education and outreach.
Project Cornerstone is a San Diego-based grassroots organization, dedicated to educating the public about the importance of local construction aggregate resources (i.e., sand, gravel and crushed stone). The organization is a result of San Diego-based construction aggregate producers identifying the need to educate the public that local supplies of aggregate are critical for cost effective infrastructure projects like roads, bridges, schools, hospitals and other public works projects. In addition, a sustainable permitted supply of construction aggregate is essential to maintain the quality-of-life the public has come to expect.
