Sacramento Area Summer Intern
We are looking for an intern to conduct research on the construction aggregates industry. The intern should have a reasonable level of competence with GIS software and be capable of working independently to research permit files for all aggregate production sites in the greater central valley geographic region, map out production sites, and then estimate reserve quantities. Must have transportation and be able to work from home until August 1st. Work product will be the basis for a market study to identify areas that need additional aggregate production sites. Time requirement: 20 – 40 hours per week and may continue through the school year.

Environmental Consultant / Project Manager / GIS Analyst
Position involves management of land use entitlement process as well as maintaining environmental and regulatory compliance for mining and industrial projects. Activities include site feasibility assessments, mine planning and mapping with GIS, reclamation planning, permit processing, managing subcontractors and correspondence with local, state and federal agencies. Ideal candidates are those with a strong desire to succeed, a willingness to work as part of a team, and dedication to completing tasks in a short scheduled environment. Applicants must be highly motivated and self-directed with 3+ years experience with project management, environmental planning and/or GIS. This job opportunity is a step-up position.
